1.14.4 เป็นการอัปเดตเล็กสำหรับรุ่น Java ปล่อยเมื่อวันที่ 19 กรกฎาคม พ.ศ. 2562 ซึ่งมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงชาวบ้านและการอนุญาตในเซิร์ฟเวอร์เล็กน้อย นอกจากนี้ยังมีการแก้ไขบั๊กต่าง ๆ ที่ปรากฎในรุ่น 1.14.3. รุ่นนี้ยังไม่สามารถเข้ากันกับเซิร์ฟเวอร์ 1.14.3 ได้

/debug

• เพิ่ม /debug report
  • ใช้ขอข้อมูลรายละเอียดเพิ่มเติมในขณะที่กำลังดีบั๊กส่วนประสิทธิภาพ เช่น รายชื่อชังก์และเอนทิตี้บล็อกในแต่ละโลก
    • ข้อมูลดังกล่าวจะถูกบันทึกเป็นไฟล์ .zip ในโฟลเดอร์ .minecraft/debug

server.properties

• เพิ่ม function-permission-level ลงใน server.properties ซึ่งควบคุมว่าฟังก์ชันมีระดับการอนุญาตใด

• สามารถจำการซุบซิบ (gossip) ของตัวเองได้ถึงแม้ว่าจะกลายเป็นซอมบี้ชาวบ้านแล้ว
  • การซุบซิบเกี่ยวกับผู้เล่นจะคงอยู่นานขึ้นถึงแม้ว่าจะกลายเป็นซอมบี้ชาวบ้านแล้ว
